Rebecca Johnson is committed to community outreach and working with the Non-Profit Community. In June, 2009, she was "arrested" by the Muscular Distrophy Association and had to "bail out" by raising funds for this wonderful cause!

Rebecca Johnson Get Networking Now!

Rebecca Johnson is the founder of Get Networking Now and Get Social Networking Now! She is an expert at showing entrepreneurs, management teams, and small business owners how to effectively network, build relationships and leverage those relationships to grow their business on and off-line.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, as she has always had a passion for helping people grow and prosper. While working in the Social Work arena, she found herself enjoying the art of “relationship building” and found a passion for taking an idea and working to bring it to “life”. This sparked a chain reaction of ideas and Rebecca quickly found herself being an “accidental entrepreneur”.

Rebecca started a security guard business with her husband in 2003. As the CEO and Marketing Manager for Cerberus Protection Services, Inc. Rebecca understood the benefits of networking from her time as a social worker. She began to seek out opportunities in her local area and quickly realized how much time she was spending just trying to find networking opportunities in her area. What she did find, she used to build a network of people around her that sent her customer referrals, employees and business service providers.

Noticing that there was a missing resource in the Sacramento area, she launched Get Networking Now! with a web design partner (whom she met through networking) in 2007. Her goal at the time was to allow business owners like herself, to have an online “one-stop-shop” for finding the opportunities to build a supportive network in her community. It has since blossomed into a full service on and offline promotional company helping businesses find creative ways to market their products and services. Get Networking Now! provides hundreds small and medium sized businesses with resources, networking events, and promotional opportunities in the Sacramento area.

Rebecca is a public speaker in her community and promotes business networking education as a keynote speaker for events, chambers, and universities. Rebecca has created opportunities for other speakers by offering opportunities and classes through Get Networking Now! live events and teleseminars. She is also actively involved with the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce, Sacramento Speaker’s Network, E-Women Network and various community/volunteer agencies.

Rebecca has been featured as a networking expert on “The Rebel Woman Show” with Jann Taber, in the National Networking Magazine and e-zine, and on several teleseminars with other marketing and business experts.
